Ultraman Taro
(ウルトラマンT(タロウ) Urutoraman Tarō?)
is the 6th show in the Ultra Series. Produced by Tsuburaya Productions, this series aired on Tokyo Broadcasting System from April 6, 1973 to April 5, 1974, with a total of 53 episodes.
Taro is one of the most typical name of a boy in otogi-banashis, or, Japanese fairy tales. The producer said, 'Ultraman Taro is going to be the fairy tale in the Ultra Series.'
Father Of Ultra
(ウルトラの父 Urutora no Chichi?)
is a fictional alien superhero featured in the Ultra Series. He first appeared in the 27th episode of Ultraman Ace dressed as Santa Claus. He is the father of Ultraman Taro. His real name Ken (ケン Ken?) was revealed in Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legend The Movie.
